The Ultra-Brief CAM (UB-CAM) is a two-step protocol that combines UB-2 items (Fick et. al., 2015;2018) and 3D-CAM (Marcantonio, et. al., 2014) items to identify the presence of delirium. Delirium is an acute, reversible confusion that is preventable and treatable. Delirium occurs in more than 25% of hospitalized older adults. Early recognition, evaluation and treatment is key to preventing complications and improving outcomes. This App is designed to be an initial screen for delirium and is not a medical diagnosis. The OhioAFP app provides members and supporters of the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) an efficient way to engage with OAFP news, events, resources, and fellow peers. The OAFP is a statewide professional association representing practicing family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students.
