# Merlino's CMA Test Prep vs RMA

The clearest difference is rating: Merlino's CMA Test Prep at 5.0 against RMA's 4.1. Merlino's CMA Test Prep also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). RMA's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Merlino's CMA Test Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RMA sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Merlino's CMA Test Prep holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RMA has 23 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Merlino's CMA Test Prep ships an update every 4 days, RMA every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
