# TaskMind vs Digital Planner for iPad

The clearest difference is monetization model: TaskMind at freemium against Digital Planner for iPad's subscription. TaskMind also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and review sentiment (68% vs 44%). Digital Planner for iPad's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 53). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskMind sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Digital Planner for iPad sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskMind holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Planner for iPad has 2.1K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of TaskMind's written reviews are positive against 44% of Digital Planner for iPad's.

TaskMind ships an update weekly, Digital Planner for iPad every 6 days. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
