# CFA Test Prep vs Be Studious

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Be Studious at 50% against CFA Test Prep's 0%. CFA Test Prep's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (31 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CFA Test Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and Be Studious sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CFA Test Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CFA Test Prep has 31 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of CFA Test Prep's written reviews are positive against 50% of Be Studious's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CFA Test Prep ships an update every 4 months, Be Studious every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
