# Shrine Comics vs Baiheverse

The clearest difference is ads: Baiheverse at none against Shrine Comics's shown. Baiheverse also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). Shrine Comics's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shrine Comics sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Baiheverse sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Shrine Comics against 5.0 for Baiheverse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shrine Comics has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Shrine Comics ships an update every 4 months, Baiheverse fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
