# Ignae vs MycoMap

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ignae at none against MycoMap's 1. Ignae also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.5). MycoMap's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MycoMap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Ignae asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ignae ships an update every 5 months, MycoMap every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
