# X vs S.A.M.

The clearest difference is update cadence: S.A.M. at every 3 days against X's every 5 weeks. X's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

X ships an update every 5 weeks, S.A.M. every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
