# Fill The Region vs Softris

The clearest difference is rating: Softris at 4.6 against Fill The Region's 3.4. Softris also leads on ratings volume (4.3K vs 48). Fill The Region's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 23%) and iOS requirement (12.5 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fill The Region sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Softris sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Softris holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Softris has 4.3K ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Fill The Region's written reviews are positive against 23% of Softris's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fill The Region ships an update every 8 days, Softris weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
