# KFC vs CELPIP Prep

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KFC at none against CELPIP Prep's 3. KFC also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). CELPIP Prep's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (32 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CELPIP Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. KFC asks for nothing beyond the download.

KFC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CELPIP Prep has 32 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of KFC's written reviews are positive against 10% of CELPIP Prep's.

KFC ships an update every 5 weeks, CELPIP Prep weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
