# Learn Drawing vs Retrace

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Retrace at 100% against Learn Drawing's 59%. Retrace also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Learn Drawing's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (846 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Drawing sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Retrace sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Retrace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Drawing has 846 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Learn Drawing's written reviews are positive against 100% of Retrace's.

Learn Drawing ships an update every 11 days, Retrace fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
