# LmaPlayer vs Smart Player

The clearest difference is monetization model: Smart Player at free against LmaPlayer's free with in-app purchases. LmaPlayer's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LmaPlayer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Smart Player sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for LmaPlayer against 5.0 for Smart Player. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.
