# MyStudyManager vs EVOLVE

The clearest difference is update cadence: EVOLVE at every 2 months against MyStudyManager's every 5 months. EVOLVE also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyStudyManager ships an update every 5 months, EVOLVE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
