# VPN Safe Net vs VPN Pro

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Pro at 4.6 against VPN Safe Net's 4.1. VPN Pro also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (877 vs 11). VPN Safe Net's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Safe Net sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and VPN Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Pro has 877 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of VPN Safe Net's written reviews are positive against 83% of VPN Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Safe Net ships an update every 3 months, VPN Pro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
