# MetaWeather vs Meteric

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Meteric at none against MetaWeather's 3. Meteric also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). MetaWeather's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 2). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MetaWeather sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Meteric asks for nothing beyond the download.
