# Future Past vs Event Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Future Past at none against Event Countdown's shown. Event Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Future Past sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Event Countdown sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Future Past against 5.0 for Event Countdown. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

Future Past ships an update every 2 weeks, Event Countdown every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
