# BgRem vs VSDC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VSDC at 76% against BgRem's 31%. VSDC also leads on ads (none vs shown). BgRem's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (4.2 vs 3.9). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VSDC sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. BgRem asks for nothing beyond the download.

BgRem holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BgRem has 135 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of BgRem's written reviews are positive against 76% of VSDC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BgRem ships an update monthly, VSDC every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
