# OnTripquest vs Vietspots

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vietspots at every 4 days against OnTripquest's fortnightly. OnTripquest's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OnTripquest ships an update fortnightly, Vietspots every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
