# Whisper MSG vs Duo Messenger

The clearest difference is rating: Whisper MSG at 5.0 against Duo Messenger's 2.3. Whisper MSG also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Duo Messenger's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Whisper MSG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 3 respectively.
