# Candy Challenge Match vs Fantasy Tree

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Candy Challenge Match at 100% against Fantasy Tree's 15%. Candy Challenge Match also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Fantasy Tree's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (8.9K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fantasy Tree sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Candy Challenge Match asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fantasy Tree holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fantasy Tree has 8.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Candy Challenge Match's written reviews are positive against 15% of Fantasy Tree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Candy Challenge Match ships an update every 3 weeks, Fantasy Tree fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
