# Anybox vs Digext

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Digext at 100% against Anybox's 65%. Digext also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Anybox's advantage is ratings volume (525 vs 11) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Anybox sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Digext sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digext holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Anybox has 525 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 65% of Anybox's written reviews are positive against 100% of Digext's.

Anybox ships an update every 5 weeks, Digext every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
