# Sunnyside vs Scrolln

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sunnyside at free with in-app purchases against Scrolln's subscription. Sunnyside also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). Scrolln's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sunnyside sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $99.99 per year and Scrolln sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrolln holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sunnyside has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sunnyside ships an update every 2 weeks, Scrolln every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
