# Masaj vs Approved Life

The clearest difference is rating: Masaj at 4.2 against Approved Life's 3.7. Masaj also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Masaj holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Masaj has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Masaj ships an update fortnightly, Approved Life every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
