# LEGO® TECHNIC® AR vs Dude Perfect

The clearest difference is ads: LEGO® TECHNIC® AR at none against Dude Perfect's shown. LEGO® TECHNIC® AR also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Dude Perfect's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LEGO® TECHNIC® AR holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.1K and 3.4K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of LEGO® TECHNIC® AR's written reviews are positive against 74% of Dude Perfect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LEGO® TECHNIC® AR ships an update every 2 months, Dude Perfect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
