# FreeMaker vs Invoice Generator

FreeMaker and Invoice Generator both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 91% of FreeMaker's written reviews are positive against 33% of Invoice Generator's. FreeMaker also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 10) and chart position (#88 vs unranked). Invoice Generator's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FreeMaker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Invoice Generator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for FreeMaker against 4.8 for Invoice Generator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FreeMaker has 3.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of FreeMaker's written reviews are positive against 33% of Invoice Generator's.

FreeMaker ships an update every 3 months, Invoice Generator every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
