# 8EE's Cabs vs Pickup

The clearest difference is ads: 8EE's Cabs at none against Pickup's shown. 8EE's Cabs also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). Pickup's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

8EE's Cabs ships an update every 3 months, Pickup monthly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
