# Estimote UWB vs Taro

The clearest difference is rating: Taro at 4.9 against Estimote UWB's 1.0. Taro also leads on ratings volume (644 vs 1). Estimote UWB's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Taro holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taro has 644 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Estimote UWB's written reviews are positive against 85% of Taro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
