# 9th Grade Learning Games vs Prodigy Math

9th Grade Learning Games and Prodigy Math both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Prodigy Math's written reviews are positive against 50% of 9th Grade Learning Games's. Prodigy Math also leads on ratings volume (96 vs 17). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9th Grade Learning Games sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months and Prodigy Math sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

9th Grade Learning Games holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prodigy Math has 96 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of 9th Grade Learning Games's written reviews are positive against 80% of Prodigy Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

9th Grade Learning Games ships an update monthly, Prodigy Math every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
