# LogiPix vs Color Dots!

The clearest difference is ads: LogiPix at none against Color Dots!'s shown. LogiPix also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 22%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Color Dots!'s advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 6). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LogiPix sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Color Dots! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for LogiPix against 4.4 for Color Dots!. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Color Dots! has 3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of LogiPix's written reviews are positive against 22% of Color Dots!'s.

LogiPix ships an update every 2 months, Color Dots! every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
