# EasyNote vs Sprouts

The clearest difference is ads: EasyNote at none against Sprouts's shown. Sprouts's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sprouts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EasyNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Sprouts every 8 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
