# To vs Submap

The clearest difference is ads: Submap at none against To's shown. Submap also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. To sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Submap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

To ships an update every 2 months, Submap every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
