# Digital Grading Co vs PopGrinder

Digital Grading Co and PopGrinder both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 88% of PopGrinder's written reviews are positive against 27% of Digital Grading Co's. PopGrinder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). Digital Grading Co's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 63) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Grading Co sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and PopGrinder sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Digital Grading Co against 4.5 for PopGrinder. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Grading Co has 3K ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 27% of Digital Grading Co's written reviews are positive against 88% of PopGrinder's.

Digital Grading Co ships an update weekly, PopGrinder every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
