# Tact Chat vs Elele

The clearest difference is ads: Tact Chat at none against Elele's shown. Tact Chat also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). Elele's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tact Chat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Elele sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.89 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tact Chat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elele has 1.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tact Chat ships an update every 6 weeks, Elele monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
