# Outschool vs Choreio

The clearest difference is update cadence: Choreio at every 6 days against Outschool's every 3 weeks. Outschool's advantage is ratings volume (121 vs 14) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outschool sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Choreio sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.2 for Outschool against 3.1 for Choreio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outschool has 121 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 29% of Outschool's written reviews are positive against 36% of Choreio's.

Outschool ships an update every 3 weeks, Choreio every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
