# selfer vs SnapPal

The clearest difference is rating: SnapPal at 5.0 against selfer's 4.7. SnapPal also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). selfer's advantage is ratings volume (98 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. selfer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SnapPal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
