# selfer vs DailyLapse

The clearest difference is update cadence: DailyLapse at every 2 days against selfer's monthly. selfer's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. selfer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DailyLapse sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

selfer ships an update monthly, DailyLapse every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
