# G vs AlarmEdu

The clearest difference is update cadence: G at fortnightly against AlarmEdu's every 12 months. AlarmEdu's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. G sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and AlarmEdu sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

G ships an update fortnightly, AlarmEdu every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
