# GIII vs Video Converter

The clearest difference is rating: GIII at 5.0 against Video Converter's 4.3. GIII also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Video Converter's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Converter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. GIII asks for nothing beyond the download.

GIII holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Converter has 23 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GIII ships an update every 2 months, Video Converter every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
