# Striving vs FlowState

The clearest difference is ads: FlowState at none against Striving's shown. FlowState also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Striving's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Striving sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and FlowState sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Striving ships an update every 5 weeks, FlowState every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
