# Striving vs LakLaka

The clearest difference is ads: LakLaka at none against Striving's shown. LakLaka also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks). Striving's advantage is ratings volume (127 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Striving sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and LakLaka sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LakLaka holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Striving has 127 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Striving ships an update every 5 weeks, LakLaka every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
