# Birthday Countdown vs DayMark

The clearest difference is update cadence: DayMark at every 9 days against Birthday Countdown's every 5 weeks. Birthday Countdown's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birthday Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DayMark sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Birthday Countdown ships an update every 5 weeks, DayMark every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
