# BARBRI vs NOSSCR

The clearest difference is rating: NOSSCR at 5.0 against BARBRI's 4.6. NOSSCR also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). BARBRI's advantage is ratings volume (2.9K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NOSSCR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BARBRI has 2.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BARBRI ships an update every 2 months, NOSSCR every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
