# VPN Hotspot Proxy vs Foundy

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Hotspot Proxy at 4.1 against Foundy's 3.3. VPN Hotspot Proxy also leads on ratings volume (63 vs 4). Foundy's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (50% vs 17%). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Hotspot Proxy sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Foundy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Hotspot Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Hotspot Proxy has 63 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of VPN Hotspot Proxy's written reviews are positive against 50% of Foundy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Hotspot Proxy ships an update every 4 weeks, Foundy every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
