# Roshi vs Koy

The clearest difference is rating: Koy at 5.0 against Roshi's 4.2. Roshi's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Koy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roshi has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
