# Hack Arcade vs Impossible Museum Scratch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Impossible Museum Scratch at every 2 days against Hack Arcade's fortnightly. Impossible Museum Scratch also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Hack Arcade's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hack Arcade sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Impossible Museum Scratch sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Impossible Museum Scratch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hack Arcade has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hack Arcade ships an update fortnightly, Impossible Museum Scratch every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
