# RDrive vs Preparo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Preparo at every 3 weeks against RDrive's every 2 months. RDrive's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RDrive ships an update every 2 months, Preparo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
