# Procreate Dreams vs Virtual Face

The clearest difference is price: Virtual Face at Free against Procreate Dreams's $12.99. Virtual Face also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 41%). Procreate Dreams's advantage is ratings volume (573 vs 7). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Virtual Face is free to download; Procreate Dreams costs $12.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Procreate Dreams holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Procreate Dreams has 573 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Procreate Dreams's written reviews are positive against 50% of Virtual Face's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
