# LetPot vs Birdfy

The clearest difference is rating: Birdfy at 4.1 against LetPot's 3.2. Birdfy also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 65). LetPot's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and review sentiment (74% vs 48%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Birdfy sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.39 per month. LetPot asks for nothing beyond the download.

Birdfy holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Birdfy has 3.6K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of LetPot's written reviews are positive against 48% of Birdfy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LetPot ships an update every 3 weeks, Birdfy every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
