# Elele vs Layer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Layer at none against Elele's 19. Layer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). Elele's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elele sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.89 per 7 days. Layer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Layer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elele has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
