# Elele vs SameNight

The clearest difference is ads: SameNight at none against Elele's shown. SameNight also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Elele's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 2) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Elele sells 19 in-app purchases, starting at $2.89 per 7 days and SameNight sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SameNight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elele has 1.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Elele ships an update monthly, SameNight every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
