# Xwavx Live vs Pudding Scan

The clearest difference is rating: Pudding Scan at 4.9 against Xwavx Live's 3.0. Pudding Scan also leads on ratings volume (211 vs 1). Xwavx Live's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xwavx Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Pudding Scan sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
